Calling all spirits in christ..

Welcome to the official Good Counsel College Class of 95 Reunion page!..
(click the logo above to the school's website)

You may have noticed that this year is the year 2005, and hence in December, it will be a whopping 10 years since we've left the sanctuary that was GCC.. Oh how time flies!..

I don't know about you, but I had some pretty damn good times at that place, with some damn fine people who I've lost contact with over the past 10 years and I think it's time we rectify that!!..

I want to try and find everyone on our Yr 12 class list (to be posted here soon) just to see what you've all been up to, and so we can try and organise some sort of reunion at the end of the year (the venue of the multi-purpose court has been suggested)..

So, please if you belong to this elite group of people, or know of any of their contact details, leave your contact details and a little about what you've been up to for the past 10 years by emailing me or adding a comment to this blog (click on the 'comments' link below) so I can add it to the page and so we can all be reunited!..

If you want to see what everyone looks like now - and show what you look like - send me a recent photo and I'll post it on this site!

See you soon!.. Beck Lee - beclee78@hotmail.com

Well.....I did the whole uni thing - Grad with a BA of Bus(Tourism) major that everyone keeps reminding me that I have never used (except for a small stint at the Park Royal Brisbane)

My mother always told me not to marry a farmer - being from a farming family but daughters never listen to their mothers - as I am experiencing first hand - even though they may only be three years old - Yes I have children - Most of you would know this. I had three under four. Logan (3), Mikinlee (2) and Bennett (7mths).

Yes, I married Craig eventually - though not sure the peice of paper makes too much difference when you already have children.

We ended up at Georgetown - for those who do not know where that is about 430kms west of Cairns on a Cattle Station called Forest Home. It is approx 56000 acres and we run about 3500 head - we only own about 1000 of these. We also farm peanuts, corn, sorghum and a few others things under two centre pivot irrigators. We are about 55km from the nearest shop and about 12km from my nearest neighbour. But this is what we love about living here - what we don't like about it is the constant battling with mother nature in order to succeed in life. Last year was the driest year in 100 and this year is worse!! Go figure.
But we probably would not change a thing!

I have plans to do my teaching degree so that when I have to take my children into school I can stay in town and teach.
Looking foward to a big easter as alot of our family comes and visits - and cannot wait to see all our class at the reunion!!
(Will Post Photos later - at the moment my children have run off with my USB cord from my digital camera)
