Hello there old school chums, thought I’d better send a posting in since big ray has been the only bloke so far. Sitting here with rum and coke in hand( I still only touch type with my right hand) I’ve been pondering the last 10 years since high school, and I’ve realised I have haven’t done as much as some. I still have the same name, I still haven’t gotin’ anyone “up the duff”, I have yet to tie the knot, and I still can’t grow side burns. But who cares!
After high school I moved to Gatton (west of Bris) to study horticulture at the UQ agriculture college. After two years of below par studying, I moved back to Innisfail for about 10 months, only to find myself missing the bright lights of the south east corner of this great state. I found my way back to Brisbane in 1998 only to meet and be caught by a very pretty girl whom has kept me caught in her web since (big blue eyes are my weakness, and she possesses these). Brisbane is now my Alcatraz.
I do love the town and it hasn’t been too bad to me. In 1999 I scored myself a job working for a Brisbane based family owned “marine wholesale business” as there head storeman, and we do make the boss a casual amount of (bulk) coin. I even once got “Dick Johnson” one of our customers to sign a shopping trolley at work (this is a long story)”. I have also taken up the great game of Aussie rules(AFL) to keep fit, and I don’t mind kicking the odd goal even if my shorts aren’t as tight as some of the boys in the team. Anyways, good onyas and looking forward to the re-union to catch up. Big thanks to Kylie, Janita and Beck for setting the big day.
And to all of the Ex-members of NIN and fellow “Homeboyz”, I will be taking a basketball to the Multi-purpose court for some three point shots followed maybe by some “phat slam dunkin’ action”. Keep it real and I’ll catch ya on the rebound!!!!!!"
